About the Placement Cell
The Placement Cell at Dr. Samuel George Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences acts as a vital link between the institute and the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sectors, hospitals, regulatory agencies, research organizations, and academia. The Cell is dedicated to supporting students in their career planning, enhancing employability skills, and providing placement and internship opportunities in reputed organizations.
The Cell actively coordinates campus recruitment drives, industry interactions, and career guidance sessions to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations. It works closely with HR representatives, industry experts, and alumni to secure job opportunities for final-year B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy and Ph.D. students.
Objectives of the Placement Cell
- To facilitate placement opportunities for students in leading pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, research organizations, and allied healthcare sectors.
- To enhance students’ employability by conducting skill development programs, aptitude training, interview techniques, and soft skills workshops.
- To establish and strengthen industry-institute collaborations and MoUs for recruitment and internship opportunities.
